World Health Organization holds a briefing on the coronavirus pandemic – 4/8/2020

World Health Organization officials hold a press conference Wednesday to update the public on the coronavirus pandemic, which has infected more than 1.4 million and killed at least 82,992 so far, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. On Monday, WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said research to develop vaccines and treatments to fight the coronavirus has “accelerated at incredible speed.”
