Former CDC Acting Director: More Testing Is ‘Essential’ To Reopen The Economy | Sunday TODAY

Dr. Richard Besser, former acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, explains to Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist why widespread testing “essential” to get society closer to normal. “We have to be able to test people who have very mild symptoms because while they’re going to do well, they can continue to spread it,” he says.
