Coronavirus outbreak: World Health Organization warns of shortage on protective equipment

The World Health Organization once more raised concerns the world was facing a “chronic shortage” of masks, gloves and other protective equipment, just hours after stressing the issue to the WHO executive board in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, there were 31,211 confirmed cases of the virus in China with 637 deaths, as well as 270 cases in 24 countries.
