Consumer confidence hits worst level in history | ABC News

Consumer confidence has fallen to a record low which you might think should be filed under hardly a surprise, but this weekly index from Roy Morgan and ANZ is now 65.3. The lowest it got to in the GFC was 90.4. In the last recession in 1990 it got down to 71.4 and in the 1982 recession the lowest was 75.2. So let’s file it under it under shocking.
